Trained in Fine Arts and holding a Master's Degree by Research in Performing Arts.
I have worked as a draughtsman in archaeological excavations,
the restoration of frescoes and large-scale archaeological structures,
where measured drawing and photographic documentation recorded
the successive states of conservation.
As a solo dance performer I was simultaneously the composer of the image and the
image itself, evanescent under a light design.
When photographing a river, my images hold a moment that was, yet communicates today.
Across these contexts photography has been the instrument for capturing what drawing alone could not retain —
a moment of a body in movement through space, the fleeting landscape of a river —
and film photography stands today as the main working tool of my visual arts
practice and research.
